FAMILY TRIP TO LA MANCHA

35mm pics I took of my Uncle Jon on our road trip across La Mancha.

Jon never met my grandfather, but he did watch his first movie, in which the famous Windmills were protagonists. As soon as he learned this movie was made by his father, it was impossible for him not to embark on this little adventure and explore the geography of the Manchego Landscape!

I was lucky enough to go on this adventure with him, and connect to this teeny tiny part of our family’s history.

We saw the colorful landscapes from above and the mighty giants of la mancha in the distance.

Golden memories made in golden fields - It was definitely a day to remember :)
